The Meeting at a Glance:
• Presidents are to register all attending members regardless of funding stream.
• Please view the list of voting delegates calculation by worksite document to assist with funding allocation.
• Voting rights at the event is limited to the Voting Delegates and the MNU Board of Directors. However, every member may attend the AGM and is encouraged to participate in discussion and activities.
• Voting Delegates and Board Members must ensure their travel arrangements allow them to be in attendance for the full duration of the 2-day meeting. Notice otherwise must be provided to MNU Provincial Office in advance.
The Event at a Glance:
A Banquet Dinner will be hosted by Winnipeg Regional Local - Long-Term Care on the evening of Tuesday, May 7th at the Fairmont, which is open to members and their guests.
Individual tickets must be purchased prior to March 31st, 2024. If not paying online with registration, cheque payment must be received by the MNU Provincial Office – attention Tracy Wood no later than April 12th, 2024.

The 49th Annual Meeting Banquet
Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Fairmont Winnipegu
The MNU Winnipeg Long-Term Care Regional Local has volunteered to host this year’s AGM Banquet and they’re already busy at work planning an evening for attendees to enjoy while raising funds for a special charity. The charity they’ve selected is Rossbrook House, which all banquet proceeds raised will be going directly to. The selected evening theme for attendees is “Slumber Party.”
Taking place on the Tuesday evening of our upcoming AGM, the 49th Annual Meeting Banquet is hosted by the MNU Winnipeg Long-Term Care Regional Local, who are busy at work planning an evening for AGM attendees to enjoy while raising funds for charity. Pull out your cozy slippers and best pair of pajamas, because this year's banquet theme is "Slumber Party."

Funding:
Designated Voting Delegates (as approved by their Regional Local/Local/Worksite) and Board will be fully funded by MNU to attend the event, as per the MNU Financial Policies (Section M of the Handbook). All expenses are to be paid upfront by the member and claimed for reimbursement after the meeting has ended and within 30 days.
Please note: Central Office does NOT accept expense reports during the meeting. Should you require any assistance completing expense reimbursement forms, please watch our Member Expense Tutorial video. The password to access it is MNU002. For added ease, we will distribute the MNU Business Travel Policy closer to the meeting.
Regional Locals/Locals/Worksites are required to pay the expenses of the non-voting/observing members. The members must obtain prior approval from their site for funding.

Out-of-town AGM attendees can book rooms at Fairmont Winnipeg with our discount rate. Rooms will book up fast, please make sure to book your accommodations as soon as possible.
